Type Hike is a "typographic exploration of America's National Parks" — a collaboration of 59 designers including David Carson, Jessica Hische, Joshua Noom and Jay Fletcher. Typehike has been featured in numerous art and design publications including Fast Company, Communication Arts, and Dribbble. All Type Hike works are preserved in the collection at the Library of Congress.
My submission features custom typography inspired by the towering, barky behemoths that comprise Redwood National Park's 139,000 acres, paired with Hannes von Döhren's "Niveau Serif".
Posters/prints of this as well as all other Type Hike designs can be purchased here, with all proceeds benefitting the National Park Foundation.
